Azure Cloud Support Engineer

Key Role:

Manage, administer, support, and enhance Cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply advanced consulting and extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

2+ year of experience with troubleshooting Azure Synapse or Azure Data Factory data pipelines

2+ years of experience with assessing and troubleshooting problems from a batch job and process perspective

2+ years of experience with working in production environments for a high mission-critical system

Experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure Management Groups

Knowledge of supporting integration of processes for monitoring and ticket escalation, including Tier II and Tier III ticketing

Knowledge of basic monitoring toolsets, including Dynatrace or Azure Analytics for operational reports creation

Ability to identify potential issues proactively and recommend a plan of action

Ability to build a support knowledge base and create artifacts via documents and SOPs

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure Management Groups in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with supporting Cloud technologies, including Azure or AWS

Experience with Jira Help Desk or Service Now

Experience with Managed Services and Security Accreditation processes

Experience with third-party tools, including Docker and Kubernetes

Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team with a focus on customer support

AWS or MS Azure Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
