To actively shape this next chapter, we are looking for an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join our R&D team as a full-time team member, working on technologies that protect our customers from spam and malware.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, multi-threaded, data-intensive applications in the area of email security.
• Work on a large, production-critical codebase, including maintenance and further development.
• Design and implement new features and functionality.
• Apply established engineering best practices such as clean code, peer reviews, test-driven development, and continuous integration.

Your Profile:

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in C++ software development.
• Strong expertise in multi-threaded programming.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and networking concepts.
• Experience developing high-performance systems, including profiling and performance optimization.
• Confident use of version control systems, especially Git.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, Lua, or Go.
• Familiarity with email-related technologies and security concepts.

Your Mindset

• Strong passion for software engineering, technology, and clean, maintainable code.
• Enjoyment of solving complex problems with attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to continuously learn and adapt.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills (German would be a plus).
• Structured, delivery-oriented way of working.
