Head of Retail Operations | Germany (Europe Expansion) | €75-85,000

We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Retail Operations (Germany) to lead the launch and operational setup of new stores across Europe for a leading retail brand!. We are starting the exciting expansion in Northern Germany and will spread from there with additional stores in Germany and then growing into France, Switzerland and Spain!

As The Head of operations, you will operate at an Area Manager/Regional Manager level and you will own all local operations in Germany – including store setup, team coordination, compliance, and vendor management. Once the store is launched you will be helping to build a scalable European retail operating model. As our client grows and expand into France and Spain in 2026-27, this role is intended to grow into a broader regional leadership position.

What You’ll Do as the Head of Operations:

* Lead end-to-end store launches in Germany (build-out, setup, staffing, operations).

* Ensure compliance with German employment and retail regulations.

* Manage vendors, operational workflows, and store performance readiness.

* Develop processes to support expansion into France and Spain.

* Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth market launches.

What We’re Looking For in our new Head of Operations

* Strong retail operations or general management experience.

* Proven track record opening stores in Germany.

* Deep understanding of German labor and regulatory requirements.

* Excellent project management and vendor oversight skills.

* Fluent in German and English (French/Spanish a plus).

* Able to be flexible in your approach to working

Location

*Based in Germany, with travel across Europe as needed.
