How you’ll be hosting with heart:
You will contribute across our organization as well as directly in our teams – we are organized along our guest journey with each team owning parts of it end-to-end. We work cross-functionally, using agile methodologies; this includes team rituals like stand-ups, plannings and retrospectives, as well as cross-team processes like RFCs and regular knowledge sharing sessions. You will join one of these teams and contribute to that team’s mission from concept to implementation, while leading, and coordinating the QA function across the department.

    • You have strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar, and a solid knowledge of TypeScript.

    • You excel at mentoring, advocating for best practices in testing, and leading initiatives within the QA function and across teams.

    • You design, develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, and test scripts for web-based and mobile platforms.

    • Furthermore, you champion automation but are bold in rolling up your sleeves and doing manual testing when needed.

    • You have experience with API testing using tools such as Postman.

    • In addition, you want to work closely with your team to identify test scenarios and implement automated tests to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.

    • Lastly, you have experience with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

About the department:

Our Product & Engineering department is full of wonderful people from all over the world, working from our office in Munich in a hybrid model, as well as remotely in special cases. We believe in self-organising teams that work independently and who care about the guest experience and fully own it. We want our teams to grow and develop as engineers and people. This is backed with a limitless-learning budget and plenty of opportunities to learn from others, from pair-programming to regular tech-talks. We love finding the solutions that create an impact for our guests, which means constant growth and embracing both change and failures.

Right now there are about 45 of us across 6 teams in the Product & Engineering department. We work with multiple technologies (Typescript,, Python) leveraging common frameworks (Angular, React, NestJS, Django) on top of the serverless framework running on AWS.
