Role Summary
This role provides the opportunity to work in an open and collaborative Agile environment as part of our Windows Endpoint team developing our flagship Cloud managed Endpoint Security Product. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge projects at the forefront of the industry including Next Generation Anti-Virus Security, Analytics, and Remediation functionality. In this role you will be responsible for developing manual and automated tests for new features developed within the team. You will also need to work with Developers and QA Leads to help define test coverage, as well as writing and running manual test cases.
We follow an Agile methodology with high quality as the key release criteria.

This role will help guide testing, best practices and enforce quality within the team, and will deliver and drive project-based test approaches and plans.
In order to be considered for this role, demonstrable experience in windows applications testing will be required.
What You Will Do
  • Define Test scenarios and Test cases to ensure quality of the team’s deliverables.
  • Define test coverage for new features and agree acceptance criteria with developers.
  • Execute tests and validate that features have met acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute to daily stand-ups, kick-offs, collaborative estimation and retrospective meetings.
  • Perform analysis of product and business risks to ensure the test coverage is appropriate.
  • Help to clarify, breakdown and estimate features and user stories.
  • Define automated functional tests to prove acceptance criteria have been met.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as directed.
  • What You Will Bring
  • Demonstrable experience in windows applications testing is essential.
  • Experience of defining test coverage for enterprise applications.
  • Experience of testing software on Microsoft Windows platforms.
  • Experience of working with Agile development methodologies.
  • A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Effective communication with different types of audience.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them to the role.
  • Self-organizing and driving to deliver quality in line with project objectives.
  • Degree in Computer Science or other numerate discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience developing in Python, and using Python to write automated functional tests.
  • Experience of software test automation framework(s) (eg. Robot).
  • ISTQB Foundation Level.
